How do I regenerate a Similarity Report?

Updated on

Sometimes similarity scores  generated by Turnitin's plagiarism detector turn out much lower than expected or you want to make sure it is checked against new sources since it was submitted.

In this guide we will show you how to regenerate the similarity report of submissions made to your Turnitin Assignments.

  • Open the submission in Feedback Studio by clicking the pencil icon in the Brightspace Assignment submission overview.
  • Click the Filter and Settings icon (looks like a funnel) on the right side of the screen.
  • At the bottom right of the the screen, click the New Report button.

Please note that it can take up to 15 minutes for a new similarity report to be generated. During the time the Similarity Report will become unavailable.
