In this article we discuss how you can log in and out of Ans. Note that the method of logging is changed from September 11 2026 onwards.
Always actively log out of Ans when using Ans on a public and/or unmanaged device, such as the instructor PC in classrooms.
How to log in on Ans
1. Go to ans.app
2. Click on Log in with your school account.
3. Choose Universiteit Leiden from the menu. You can make use of the search bar.
4. Use your mail address to log in.
Note: Use your credentials: ULCN-username followed by @vuw.leidenuniv.nl.
Example: [email protected].
5. Fill in your password.
6. If needed, follow the steps for your chosen multi-factor authentication method.
7. You are now logged in to Ans.
How to log out on Ans
With the new log in method your information is retained for a longer period of time. It will therefore be necessary to log out actively on devices other than your work laptop.
1. Open your Ans menu.
2. Select Log out
