Communication from Ans

Ans is continuously being developed. Ans provides different types of information to keep you informed about your assessments and developments within Ans. You can receive notifications about your assessments, as well as information about new features, releases and upcoming developments. This article explains the different ways in which you can receive this information from Ans. Click one of the links below to go directly to a specific section:

Expand or collapse content Setting up Ans email notifications

As an instructor, you can enable the following notifications:

  • New assignments to be graded (once a day at most)
  • Discussions between you and the students (once a day at most)

If you enable New assessments to be graded, you will receive a maximum of one email per day for each assessment. If you have multiple assessments open, you will receive a separate email for each assessment.

You can enable or disable these notifications at any time by selecting or deselecting the corresponding checkbox.

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Click Communications.
  4. Select which emails you would like to receive.

The functional administrators at your faculty can tell you more about developments in Ans and which changes are relevant to your teaching. If you have questions about new features, contact the functional administrators at your faculty.

Expand or collapse content Release notes 

Ans updates its application every eight weeks. This is called a release. If you would like to know exactly which changes have been implemented in a release, you can subscribe to the Ans release notes.

When a new release article is published, you will automatically receive a notification. The release notes contain detailed information about changes to the platform.

Would you like a general overview of the most important developments in Ans? Subscribe to the Ans & Outs newsletter. By subscribing, you will receive newsletters containing:

  • Highlights from new releases.
  • Invitations to the Ans & Outs stream, which takes place after each release and provides users with a verbal overview of the latest developments.
  • Information about upcoming development plans for Ans.
