What is a peer-review assessment?
In a peer review assignment, students can read and evaluate each other's work.
How do I create a peer-review test?
- Go to the desired ANS environment and log in.
- Navigate to the desired item bank or course where you want to place the test.
- Next, click the “New Assignment” button.
4. You'll now see a few options. Enter the information and select the “digital peer review test” option.
5. Click “Create.” You have now created a peer-review test.
Would you like to add questions? Adding questions to a digital peer-review test is the same as adding them to a digital test.
How do I change the settings for my peer-review test?
Once you've created the quiz, you can assign it to a preset via Settings. Go to Settings and then click on Peer Review Options. You'll see the following screen:
What can I change?
In the settings, you can customize the following options:
- Grading method: determines the format of the test (for example, automated or peer review).
- Grading options: Use these to set the number of assessments a student must submit. Once a student has finished the test, the option to begin grading will appear.
- Anonymous grading: enabled by default. This hides the participants' names during grading.
- Time limit: Please note that this does not refer to the time limit for the test itself, but to the time available for grading.
